Aesthetics in a Walk of Life

Sunny S. K. LAM
Ph.D. Candidate in Communication, CUHK

I like photography and cinematography and so, I always take pictures and videos in my travel and everyday life. But, sometimes, a travel in one's homeland can also explore something interesting and meaningful, and can make oneself know more about those nearby cultures.

Here I present some selected works of my lived experience of nearby (physical as well as hyperreal) cultures including a series of 4 Black and White photos entitled "Human Nature" to share my feeling about life of simplicity within a complex postmodern metropolis like Hong Kong, and a reedited video sequence of three different categories of media arts and aesthetics - Computer Animation, Motion Graphics and Documentary - that I have been studying as well as practicing for over a decade.

Go and enjoy! Please share with me your feelings and comments to support my continuous walk of life and aesthetics.
