Consultation Sessions in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing for Research Postgraduate Programmes in Communication (Registration deadline: 15 September 2019)

The 2020-2021Research Postgraduate Programmes (MPhil and PhD) of the School of Journalism and Communication, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, are now open for application. The deadline for the priority round of admission is 2 December 2019. Applicants interested in the Ph.D. programme must apply through the Hong Kong Research Grants Council’s Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme in this round. The PhD Fellowship Scheme, which aims at attracting outstanding students throughout the world to pursue their PhD degree in Hong Kong, offers very generous financial support for successful applicants.

Applicants who have missed the priority round should apply no later than 31 January 2020 to compete for the remaining quotas left after the priority round admissions.

The School will hold consultation sessions with prospective applicants in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing. Details are as follows:

  • Shanghai: 27 September 2019 (Friday)
  • Shenzhen: 14 October 2019 (Monday)
  • Beijing: 25 October 2019 (Friday)
