Current Research:
A study is conducted on the image of China and Japan among Hong Kong people. Few people have the opportunity to directly interact with people from other culture; they often rely on secondary sources especially mass media for image formation. The roles of mass media in forming positive or negative images of other cultures have been contentious in international communication. This study examines the extent to which television news affects peopleˇ¦s images of others. |
