We are delighted to congratulate Prof. Saskia Witteborn, Professor at the School of Journalism and Communication, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, on receiving the Top Faculty Paper Award from the Language and Social Interaction Division of the International Communication Association (ICA). Her award-winning paper, “Artificial Intelligence and Communication: Conceptual Questions in Ethnographies on Language and Social Interaction,” advances critical understanding of AI in communication research. Prof. Saskia Witteborn’s work spans migration into digital spaces (Web3, VR/AR), technology and migration, and the datafication of migration.
