The CCPOS employs the latest computer technology to collect and analyze data. Data collection and entry are computerized using a state-of-the-art computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) system.

  

Interviewers are trained to use the CATI system through tutorials, and supervised training and practice. Management staff and supervisors who oversee the CCPOS are experienced survey researchers, having conducted public opinion polls over 15 years. These studies have ranged from surveys of opinions, readership, viewership, and Internet usage to surveys of public health.
