On 1 December 2025, as part of the CUHK Advertising Master Series 2025-2026, nearly fifty postgraduate students from taught programmes including Advertising, Corporate Communication, Global Communication, Journalism and New Media visited Google Hong Kong for an inspiring session on data driven marketing. The visit provided students with firsthand insights into how evidence-based strategies outperform instinct and why audience data is essential for effective campaigns. They explored how AI and programmatic tools optimize advertising across the entire funnel and learned how Google bridges online intent with offline sales—turning searches like “coffee near me” into measurable store visits. From YouTube’s growing influence to AI’s role in automating routine tasks, students gained practical knowledge that will help them thrive in a rapidly evolving advertising landscape.
