Our PhD student HUANG Guangsheng, Vincent has won an award in the International Communication Association (ICA) annual conference in 2016. Vincent won the Top Student Paper Award in the Language and Social Interaction Division for his paper entitled “‘Transborder Conversation’ and Diffusion of Social Movement Discourse between Hong Kong and China: Oppositional Codes and the Mediatisation of a Transborder Speech Community”.
