Transfer‐in:
Students who would like to transfer to the Journalism and Communication Programme, please follow the below instructions to complete the application:
1. Submit online application under CUSIS
2. Download the School’s application form here
3. Complete and submit the form to Room 202, Humanities Building, New Asia College.
4. Please enclose the following supporting documents when you return the application form:
1. A personal statement both in Chinese & English;
2. A completed application form;
3. A copy of your academic report(s) (with cumulative GPA 3.0 or above);
4. A copy of your public examination certificate(s);
5. A photo.
Application Period： 13 June 2013 (Thu) ‐28 June 2013 (Fri)
Interview Period：early July 2013
The School will contact qualified applicants by phone for interview arrangements.
Declaration of Minor:
Students who would like to minor in Journalism and Communication, please follow the below instructions to complete the application:
1. Complete the application form obtained from the Registration and Examinations Section (RES);
2. Download and complete the School’s application form here
3. Submit the completed application forms and a copy of your academic report(s) to Room 202, Humanities Building, New Asia College.
*Applicants may submit the application in person or entrust friends to submit the application document altogether with a copy of the applicant’s student ID card and a letter of authorization.
Minor Programme Requirement:
Students pursuing the four‐year curriculum should have obtained a pass or above in COMM1110 or COMM1140 before application while students pursuing the three‐year curriculum should have obtained a pass or above in COMM1110.
Notes: Registration as a Minor in Journalism and Communication in no way guarantees enrolment in courses with quotas due to limited facilities and manpower.
