1. Individual Main Experiences

Shao Peiren, born in Nov. 1953 in Huai’an Jiangsu Province, graduated from Chinese department Xuzhou Teachers University in 1978, and finished journalism master courses in journalism school, Fudan University in 1987. After taking job, he was successively appointed with staff-room director of journalism and communication department, Hangzhou University, assistant director and head of communication research institute. He was promoted to associate professor in 1992, to professor in 1996 and was approved as a doctor supervisor in 2001. He began to assume the office of vice director of humanities college Zhejiang University; head of communication research institute Zhejiang University, commissioner in journalism and communication subject teaching supervising committee in ministry of education; science commissioner in information and communication research center Fudan University (liberal science research base of ministry of education); editor-in-chief of the magazine China Media Report; chairman of Zhejiang communication academy etc.

2. Individual Main Research Fruits

Shao Peiren successively published about 100 papers and many communication compositions: media strategic management (Fudan University Publishing House, 2003), a teaching material for Chinese graduate students majored in journalism and communication; media management science (High Education Publishing House, 2002), teaching material facing towards 21st century; classical cases of media management science (Higher Education Publishing House, 2003), teaching material facing toward 21st century; communication science (Higher Education Publishing House, 2000), teaching material facing toward 21st century; intellective economy and mass media (Zhejiang University Publishing House, 1999); media operation and management science (Zhejiang University Publishing House, 1998); communication science introduction (Zhejiang University Publishing House, 1997); journalism and communication science (Jiangsu People’s Publishing House, 1995); communication sociology (Nanjing University Publishing House, 1994); principles and applications of communication science (Lanzhuo University Publishing House, 1988); economic communication science (Jiangsu People’s Publishing House, 1990); political communication science (Jiangsu People’s Publishing House, 1991); arts communication science (Nanjing University Publishing House, 1992); educational communication science (Nanjing University Publishing House, 1992). He had enlisted in 8 compositions such as public-opinion communication science and modern propagandizing conspectus. Some of the compositions won over-provincial-level awards. Principles and applications of communication science (Lanzhuo University Publishing House, 1988) won the second-class award of Gansu People’s government excellent teaching materials; communication science introduction (Zhejiang University Publishing House, 1997) won the first-class award of Zhejiang people’s government excellent teaching materials.
