On 17 October 2016, Hong Kong movie director, Mr. Adam Wong Sau Ping, and Hong Kong actor, Mr. Yau Hawk Sau, were invited to share with CUHK staff, students, alumni and the general public on the topic “Hong Kong films: Decline of the old ushering in the new?”.
They shared about their views on the increasing trend of international film co-production in recent years, and how Hong Kong films can keep its local characteristics when facing restrictions on creative freedom in neighboring areas.
