Media coverage of China has always been important and has become even more so as the country emerges a global power. How has the world gotten its information about China over the years? How does media coverage of China affect perceptions of the country? There is perhaps no better candidate than Mr. Mike Chinoy, the former CNN Senior Asia Correspondent and a current researcher of international relations, to talk about these questions in the coming Monday.come. Mr. Chinoy will also show us a 30-minute documentary on the history of American correspondents in China which is still hot from editing machine.
