The 21st century is an era occupied by images, made possible by the phototaking and sharing functions of smartphones. Images inundate when there are big social events. How should photojournalists respond to the fact that everyone can be a photographer? What kinds of images are impactful? In the coming Monday.COME, Mr. Paul Yeung, a veteran photojournalist, and Prof. Joseph Chan, a scholar known for his social photography, will reflect on photo taking during the Umbrella Movement and the power of images.
