Training Trip to Prague and Berlin 2018

Twenty four selected students from the School of Journalism and Communication’s undergraduate programme and taught postgraduate programmes, led by Ms. Vivian Tam, and Dr. Allan Au, visited Prague and Berlin from 8 to 20 December, 2018. In this trip, students were engaged with leaders in the media and communication industries as well as scholars through a series of media workshops, lectures and local visits. Organizations visited include Thomson Reuters, Respekt Magazine, Czech Radio, Forum 2000 Foundation, Seznam.cz and so on. All students gained a better understanding on the opportunities and challenges faced by the Post-Communist Media and Society throughout the trip.
