Varsity and U-Beat students won the “Mind HK Media Awards 2020” under the category of “Young Journalist”. The award ceremony was held on 22 April 2021.

The awards, established by “Mind Hong Kong”, celebrate journalists in Hong Kong who are challenging perceptions of mental health in their work. The organizer aims to encourage positive, ethical and balanced portrayals of mental health in the local media, to help break down stigma and promote more open conversations around mental illness.
