U-Beat Students Won 24th Human Rights Press Awards

Students of U-Beat, the School’s undergraduate journalistic publication, won four prizes in the 24th Human Rights Press Awards. The winner list is as follows:

The awards are jointly organized by the Foreign Correspondents’ Club Hong Kong, Amnesty International Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Journalists Association. They were the first such honours created in Asia and are the region’s top awards for human rights-related reporting.
