Lui Yvonne Hoi Wun, a 4-year undergraduate student majoring in Global Communication, received a funding of HK$20,000 from the School’s Student Development Subsidy Scheme in Summer 2023. She formed a team of over 50 people to create their own short film entitled “The Photography Club”.
The film tells the story of a clueless freshman who joins the Photography Club to enrich his university life but finds himself entangled in interpersonal conflicts within the club. This situation leads him to search for his own life direction.
Lui’s work has been honoured with the following international awards:
Paris Art and Movies Award (Short Film category)
International Independent Film Awards (Gold Prize)
