Our undergraduate students have won another award!

The video “Til Death Do Us Part” by U-Beat students won the Best Student Project in the 2017 Cybercitizen Award, receiving the highest score from the judging panel and second most votes in the online poll.

“Til Death Do Us Part” explores the legal rights of same-sex couples to handle a partner’s ashes after their death. The judges praised the students for their outstanding filming techniques and storytelling methods, producing a timely video that adds to the current discussion on LGTB rights.

This award is organised by Culture & Media Education Foundation, with the aim of encouraging online civic participation among students.
