Consultation Sessions in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing for research postgraduate programmes in Communication (Registration deadline: 16 September 2018)
The 2019-2020 research postgraduate programmes (MPhil and PhD) of the School of Journalism and Communication, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, are now open for application. The deadline for the first round of admission is 1 December 2018. Applicants interested in the Ph.D. programme must apply through the Hong Kong Research Grants Council’s Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS: https://cerg1.ugc.edu.hk/hkpfs/index.html) in this round.
The PhD Fellowship Scheme, which aims at attracting outstanding students throughout the world to pursue their PhD degree in Hong Kong, offers very generous financial support for successful applicants. The deadline for the second round of admission is 31 January 2019, which is mainly for MPhil applicants. PhD applications will be considered in this round depending on the availability of vacancies.
The School will hold consultation sessions with prospective applicants in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing. Details are as follows:
- Beijing: 28 or 29 September 2018 (Friday or Saturday)
- Shanghai: 12 October 2018 (Friday)
- Shenzhen: 15 October 2018 (Monday)
