Creative Social Movement: The Story of Mocking Jer
Responsibility goes to the youth in troubled times. A few graduates from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts formed a group named “Mocking Jer” last December, aiming to respond to social and political concerns. They got famous for producing a MV in the fashion of Andy Lau’s. The MV vividly reconstructed the ambiance of Hong Kong in the 1990s, and Dee Gor imitated Andy Lau to perfection, which succeeded in making “Mocking Jer” viral among netizens. Mocking Jer is joining hands with various online media in some production projects. The three core members of “Mocking Jer” will come to Monday.COME and share with us their alternative creative experience.
