Understanding Xi’s rule from the media discourse

It has been two years since Xi Jinping assumed the office as the top leader of the country. Which path the country has taken in the past two years? Has Xi followed in the steps of Deng’s or those of Mao’s? How should we interpret his emphases on the economic reform and rule of law? Mr. Qian has been dedicated to observing the party politics of China from the perspective of media discourses. It is a media expert’s interpretation of politics by the means of media studies. He will discuss with us about the political changes in Xi’s term of office.
