Public Relations Week “Emerging Trends and Challenges of Public relations and Strategic Communication in the Digital Era”
The new media revolution in 21st century has greatly reconstructed the social network and ways of communication between people in society. The Public Relations and Strategic Communication field is facing radical changes due to the increasing popularity of social media. As a leading center of communication education in the Asia-Pacific region, the School of Journalism and Communication attempts to accommodate increasing needs of understanding strategic communication and public relations practice in the digital era. A PR week is organized to discuss the development, emerging trends and future challenges of PR and Strategic Communication amidst the rapid social, political and technological changes.
The week of events including public seminars, international forum and international conference will be held from Friday, 11 March to Friday, 18 March 2016. The schedule is as below:
