Public Talk Series of Media Professionals in Residence Programme – 2023 Spring (3) by WANG Qing

The third public talk “The In-Betweener: Being a Foreign Correspondent in a Polarized World”, hosted by the Chief International Correspondent of Jiemian News, Wang Qing received favorable responses from students, alumni and the general public, which attracted one hundred and twenty participants. Wang Qing gave an in-depth sharing about her experience of being a multimedia journalist specialized in global affairs and how to cover important political and economic stories with a human-centered approach. Participants seized the opportunity to interact with the speaker during the Q&A session.
