The longest serving teacher of the School, Prof. Leung Wai Yin Kenneth, retired in 2007-08 after providing dedicated service for 25 years. A farewell party was organized on 31 May 2008 at the University Guest House to let teachers, staff, alumni and students bid farewell and say words of thanks to Prof. Leung. About 100 people attended the party. Teachers, alumni and students shared their thoughts openly, and presented a tennis racket, a tailor-made “Farewell Post” and a golden book of thank-you words to Prof. Leung respectively. Prof. Leung also took the chance to share his valuable teaching experience and memory with the guests. After the photo taking session, the farewell party ended with many cheerful smiles. Yet, Prof. Leung is reluctantly missed by all. The School wishes Professor Leung a happy retirement! |
