With the purpose of nurturing the next generation of advertising professionals in Hong Kong, the School of Journalism and Communication at CUHK launched the 1st HK2A & CUHK Joint Mentorship Programme.
This programme aims to provide an opportunity for students, who are interested in the advertising profession, to learn on a one-to-one basis from senior executives of Hong Kong Advertiser Association (HK2A) member companies. HK2A key member companies include Citibank (Hong Kong), MTR Corporation, Hutchison Telecommunications, Sony, Cathay Pacific Airlines, etc.
A total of 18 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students were selected to participate in the programme. A kick-off event was held on 24 February 2012 at Flame, Towngas Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui. Mentees had the opportunity to meet and interact with their mentors for the very first time.
