Monday.COME “Men who love Photography”
“If a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it’s as though I’ve neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up.” – By Richard Avedon, a much-herald American photographer.
Photography is a creative act that charmed many by a lightning instant of give-and-take. But with the prevalence of digital camera, images are overwhelming and inundating. Do they still carry meanings that surprise, stimulate and awaken people? In this coming Monday.COME, two men who love photography were invited to be in a dialogue with a woman who does not like being photographed. They will share their observations on professional and amateur photography, realism and fine art, and political culture of photography. A selection of photographs will be presented.
