Monday.COME “When Heaven Burns?”

The Wukan Village incident that happened in southern China last November has drawn attention around the world. What is the latest development? What are the implications of the protest experience at Wukan Village for future social movements in China? We are pleased to have invited Ms. ZHANG Jieping to share with us her observations at the next Monday.come. Ms. Zhang is currently the editorial writer of the iSun Affairs, a Chinese current affairs ipad e-magazine, and has been closely monitoring this incident and written a report series on it. Previously, she has worked as a reporter for Yazhou Zhoukan (Asia Weekly) and received the Journalist of the Year Award from the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) in 2010.
