We have recently received more good news. Prof. Anthony Fung and Dr. Boris Pun, our Ph.D. graduate, have received the Top Faculty Paper Award from the Popular Media & Culture Division at the 2025 Annual Conference of the International Communication Association (ICA). Their winning paper is titled “Vortical Temporalities and Fragmented Presence: Digital Platform, Street Performance and Rhythms in Laojie, Shenzhen” and is co-authored with Fengming Guo.
