Three distinguished alumni of the School won big awards in the 12th Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival.

The winner list is as follows:

Fresh Wave Award (highest prize) – The Umbrella by TSANG Hing Weng Eric (2012 Graduate)
Best Director – The Bridge by YEUNG Leung Chuen (2015 Graduate)
Best Screenplay – Bright Spring Days by YEH Ka Lun (2017 Graduate)
