Our PhD student Cheng Yang, Alice has won two awards in the 64th International Communication Association (ICA) annual conference held in May 2014. Alice won the Top Student Paper Award at the Division ofMass Communication with her paper titled “The Third-level Agenda Setting in the Contemporary China: Tracking Descriptions to Moral and National Education (MNE) in Government policy, Media coverage and People’s minds”. Moreover, she has received the Best Student Paper Award at the Division of Public Relations with another paper titled “The Status of Online Crisis Communication Research in 1999-2013: A Review and Critique.
