Professor Lik Sam Chan Elected as the Co-Chair of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer Studies Interest Group of the International Communication Association

Recently, Prof. Lik Sam Chan was elected as the Co-Chair of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer (LGBTQ) Studies Interest Group of the International Communication Association (ICA).

LGBTQ Studies Interest Group is among 25 divisions and 8 interest groups under the ICA. Established in 1993, the LGBTQ Studies Interest Group is concerned with the analysis and critique of sexual systems, discourses, and representations. LGBTQ employs a Co-Chair model instead of the standard ICA Chair/Vice Chair model. A new Co-Chair is elected every other year. Prof. Lik Sam Chan will start his role as the Co-Chair in May 2023.
