We are very glad to announce that Prof. Ran Wei is the new Director of Centre of Chinese Media and Comparative Communication Research (C-Centre). He is also the founding Director of Virtual Reality Lab (VR Lab) of the School. Prof. Wei is one of the most prestigious Chinese communication scholars. His current research includes cognitive bias of media messages and participation, 5G and Convergent media, young people and personal digital media, accessing news from the mobile phone: motivations, use and consequences, trends in experiential media, virtual reality, perceived realism and social presence.
